Where dining finds a room of its own
Each room in Engel's Stuben has a distinct character and tells of the Black Forest in its own way. Elegant restaurant rooms meet a homely atmosphere, and regional ties meet international influences. Six rooms. One shared signature.
Some keep to traditional Black Forest style, others give it a modern interpretation, and every dining room has an atmosphere that is unmistakably its own. Together they make the right setting for leisurely hours at the table, good company and the varied cooking of Engel Obertal.

Our à la carte menu changes with the seasons. You will find summery starters and soups, fish from the Black Forest and further afield, and meat dishes ranging from Swabian Zwiebelrostbraten, a rump steak with roasted onions, to saddle of venison. There are vegetarian dishes too, and something sweet to finish.

À la carte dishes, the snack menu and the gourmet evening menu each have their time of day.
