Our distillery is in full swing! On these days, different fruits are turned into fine brandies. We warmly invite you to look over our distiller's shoulder as they work.
Destille
In the Destille, modern Black Forest style and authentic details meet the distinctive atmosphere of our own distillery. The separate room has space for up to 60 people and lets you experience regional craft at first hand.
Our restaurant service times: breakfast from 8 am to 11 am, lunch buffet from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, coffee and cake from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm, snack menu from 12 noon to 10 pm and à la carte from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. On Sundays and public holidays we also serve à la carte from 12 noon to 1:30 pm.
Our menus
Our à la carte menu changes with the seasons. You will find summery starters and soups, fish from the Black Forest and further afield, and meat dishes ranging from Swabian Zwiebelrostbraten, a rump steak with roasted onions, to saddle of venison. There are vegetarian dishes too, and something sweet to finish.
Destille
Craft, warmth and character
The Destille brings the essence of the Black Forest into the room in a way of its own. Natural materials and traditional elements in a modern design form the setting for the cooking of Engel Obertal. Direct access to the hotel's own distillery shows how closely the pleasures of the table and the craft behind them belong together here. The result is a room with character for evenings together, private celebrations and special culinary occasions.
