Our distillery is in full swing! On these days, different fruits are turned into fine brandies. We warmly invite you to look over our distiller's shoulder as they work.

A place for long evenings
With warm wood all around and a comfortable seat close to the bar, one drink soon turns into a whole evening. On the menu are aperitifs and digestifs, classic cocktails and long drinks, selected spirits and Pils fresh from the tap. Whatever you are in the mood for, there is a glass to match. Tradition and today's bar culture sit side by side here quite naturally. A place for good conversation, familiar rituals and the last pleasure of the day.

What can we get you?
Aperitifs and champagne, wines served by the quarter litre, wines by the bottle from Baden, Württemberg, France and Italy, plus our cellar treasures and the fruit brandies from the Rotenbachhof.
Between tradition and today
The hotel bar is one of those places at Engel Obertal where you are happy to stay a little longer. The preserved woodwork sits within a modern, generous design, and the room feels elegant and familiar at once. Just the right setting for rounding off the day over a good glass.
